The public joint-stock company Melon Fashion Group has signed a lease contract for a warehouse of 2.2 thousand square meters in the Lipsanen logistics terminal in Moscow district of St Petersburg (Kubinskaya street, 73). The broker company Bright Rich | CORFAC International acted as an agent of the deal.

The main advantage of Lipsanen is its good transport accessibility. This B-class logistics terminal is located inside the city within close reach of the “Ring” highway (KAD) and the “West Speed Diameter” highway (ZSD). This advantageous location allows MFG to optimize its logistics flows.

Apart from the new warehouse in Lipsanen, MFG outsources and operates two more warehouses in Moscow and one in St Petersburg.

In 2014, MFG opened an outsourced warehouse in Ekaterinburg, which has cut the delivery time to the stores within the Urals region by one day compared with 2013, while the delivery costs in the region were decreased by 55%.

Thus the total space occupied by the Group’s 5 warehouses exceeds 8 thousand square meters.

“For a company operating the full fashion business cycle, it is essential to have a smart logistics structure, comments Kestutis Sasnauskas, CEO of Melon Fashion Group. Efficient logistics solutions put into practice by MFG professionals ensure prompt deliveries of our goods to the stores, which makes it possible for our customers to follow the latest fashion trends.
