The ОАО Melon Fashion Group does not intend to reject the goals set in the 2012 strategic development plan. Global financial changes taking place worldwide make us, like other companies, work in new, stiff conditions.
Following the analysis of the economic situation in Russia and worldwide, the Company has adopted the policy of maintaining high-quality retail operations. The main task is to preserve what we have.
We are also fully aware of the main-stream tendency on the commercial real estate market: trade spaces are being constantly released. We analyze any offer that comes to the Company and monitor offers on the market. If an offered trade space meets all the sales “success parameters”, we decide on launching a shop there. On the one hand, the crisis brings in a lot of the unexpected and troublesome, but on the other hand, it opens new opportunities for the Company's progress. Taken prompt adaptation to changes on the market and clever analysis of the situation, the Company has a chance not only to gain, but also to strengthen its positions.
